Dan: It comes from two Greek roots - eikon, which means "likeness" and klan, which means "to break." In other words, someone who loves to attack cherished beliefs or institutions. Someone who sets fire to icons. Me: Dear god, he sounds like a nightmare. Dan: Yep. Me: I would totally fall in love with him.
