It’s gradually come to my attention that the stuff I use to clean - Windex, Pinesol, etc - may actually just make my mirror/bathtub/floors/windows more toxic.  Yuck.

So this January, I want to replace everything with green, environmentally friendly, NON TOXIC cleaners - and not just shower and toilet scrubbers, but also detergents - and even toothpaste & shampoos.

Do you have any suggestions?  I don’t want a fake green cleaner (Sometimes companies plaster “green” or “non-toxic” all over their product, but it’s pretty much a lie, and they’re still loaded with chemicals).

Oh, and … they should still, uh, you know, CLEAN STUFF.  I found this article, which tested a bunch of different friendly cleaners (like Method, Seventh Generation, Borax etc), which I think is a good start.

I also just discovered this - the Get Clean starter kit, which looks very promising.  Their website says that they “believe in cleaners that don’t leave behind more toxins than the toxins they’re supposed to clean.”  That’s exactly what I’m looking for!

PS. It should be puppy-safe. Lilly dog likes to lick EVERYTHING, and that’s a constant concern when I clean.

In the meantime, email me with your suggestions and/or warnings! Julia@NonSociety.com
