My First Quarter 2009 Schedule is looking good!
I have a feeling 2009 will be filled with a lot of travel. Hopefully not only to places like DC, SF, Chicago & LA - although they’re great! - I just need to stretch myself a bit. When I was in high school, I studied abroad in Rome (I took Latin, where else would you go??),!#! and when I was in college, I studied abroad in Ecuador (the Gtown degree required proficiency in a spoken language, so I had to start all over with Spanish. It was rough, as my language-adoption skills are … um … not my strong suit, to say the least).
I haven’t spent serious time (sure, a week here, a week there) anywhere but the US since then, and I really, REALLY would like to - hopefully this summer. As lovely as the Hamptons are, I need a little bit of stimulation that doesn’t come in the form of multi-colored Lacoste polos.
China, anyone?
