Subject: would you tweet for charity?
Hey Julia
I am the creator of tweet4children.com, a twitter centric organization that does events to raise money for charities involved with children. First partner is Angelwish.org who collects mney for HIV/AIDS children.
Our first event is a Tweetathon in which 3-5 tweeters would try to make as much tweets as possible within 24 hours. Donors can bet any amount on one or more of these Tweeters and then pay the amount they bet multiplied the number of tweets to Angelwish. Tweet4Children itself does not collect any money!
This Tweetathon will take place Saturday 1st November from 8am to Sunday 9pm (You get a break of one hour you can spread evenly on the 24 hours where you do not have to tweet). The participants should livecast the entire 24 hours to allow their sponsors to follow them and see what they do.
To make things more interesting we are looking for web personalities as Tweeters. As you are definitely a web personality, of course I immediately though of you. And that’s why I’d like to ask you now:
Would you tweet 24 hours on Saturday November 1st 2008 for charity and livecast the whole event?
If you have any questions, you may respond to this email anytime (or nussbi@me.com) or call me on my mobile: [redacted] (I am Swiss living in Switzerland, so please call me between 8am and 22pm GMT+1 whenever possible).
I really look forwrd hearing from you, even though I know the chance is very little for me that you will say yes to this.
Sincerely
Christian Nussbaumer
