I was quite serious about ballet when I was younger … then the discipline required became too much, and I shifted into modern dance, and finally, in college, cheer-dancing (I just made up that word-permutation, but what I mean is - I was on the dance/pom team for Hoya basketball games).
When I see a photograph like this, I wish I had stuck with ballet.
