they are adopted by a few
they are ridiculed
they are adopted by a few more
they are feared
they are adopted by a few more
they are discussed
they are adopted by many
they are praised
they are absorbed into everyday life
they are seen as so obvious it’s hard to imagine the world any other way
they are written about in mainstream media
