I may have overreacted a bit.

I’ll explain what happened later, but suffice it to say, I got shaken and totally lost perspective.

I still think I need a break - to get a handle on this strange beast of a media persona I’ve created … and how that affects my personal life.

Thank you so much for all of the amazing emails - you made a shitty day into something hopeful, and you let me know that, even if some people can’t see beyond the bullshit, a hell of a lot of people can.

I’ll definitely be back. I just need some time to think.

PS. For those of you who were worried that my spirit was crushed, let me assure you, it is not. I may have cried yesterday (something I haven’t done since my last break up), but today I walked home grinning in the pouring rain, no umbrella, soaked to the bone. Life goes on.
