We already have our first suggestion for the bewildered bride in!  Gently worn wedding gowns on OnceWed.com
I like this one quite a lot (I’m certainly going to tell Britt’s fiancee Allie about it!)  The only ish I take with this site is that I think they shouldn’t call the dresses “used” but instead “once loved.”
I mean, let’s be honest here: what girl wants a (quote-unquote) USED wedding gown?!  That said, in a different context - like a relative or a loved one - that would be sweet or even sentimental. (I would wear my momma’s dress in a heartbeat.)
I realize that a stranger and my Mom are very different, but so much of weddings is (obviously) emotional and symbolic.  So, for example, if I knew that the wedding of the woman whose dress I wore was joyous (as was her marriage), I could be convinced.  I hate to be superstitious, but I just couldn’t wear a gown from a marriage that had already failed, or even an engagement which was called off.  I’m sorry if that offends anyone, but … it just wouldn’t feel right to me.
Enough of that.  Look at the STUNNING gown above - at $4k under the market price!  Would that I were lucky enough to one day wear a “once loved” gown like that.   :)

I was just going through it really quickly and they had huge gowns and simple sheaths, short dresses and vintage dresses. From Oscar de la Renta and Betsey Johnson to J Crew and Mori Lee, there are dresses at every price point and style. Hope that helps!Katie__Katie LewisKatie Lewis Photographywww.katielewisphotography.comwww.katielewisphotography.com/blog
