Words of Wisdom from Grandmother: "You are what...
Grandmother: I can’t believe it, Julia, all of a sudden - it will seem like all of a sudden - you’ll be in your 80s, you’ll think, what happened?! But time marches on.
Me: Do you feel 87?
Grandmother: I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel like! I don’t feel any different! But when I think I’m 87, I think 'what happened? I used to be a little girl!' And now, wherever I go, I’m the oldest. And there’s nothing you can do about it. You are what you are. But I think people should try to be the best of what they are. Sarah Lane: Well, my grandma is 99 and the last time I showed her a picture I took of her on my iphone, she got confused and angry.
